We’re committed to reviving the traditional concepts of community, where caring for our neighbors, helping those in need, and building genuine relationships are key to our collective strength. Our work isn’t about providing handouts; it’s about igniting the inherent strength within ourselves and our communities. We believe that everyone has the power to effect change because we are who we serve, and we know firsthand the needs and challenges we face. Our role is to help recognize and harness that power to rebuild our lives and our neighborhoods.

There is a   15 Year Life Expectancy Difference 

Between Louisville's West End and East End.


In Louisville, where you live can determine how long you live. The 15-year difference in life expectancy between East and West Louisville highlights deep health inequities that will take years to reverse. Change Today, Change Tomorrow serves the most marginalized in Louisville's West End, where predominantly Black residents face systemic barriers to access healthy food, quality healthcare, and economic opportunities. We started serving this community because we are the community—those impacted by these injustices. Our work is fueled by the desire to eliminate these barriers and close the life expectancy gap for our neighbors and our future generations.

Through our main pillars of service, Food Justice, Community Engagement, and Public Health, we provide for the most marginalized communities in the city, because when you show up for the most marginalized, you show up for everyone. We protect, defend, and meet the needs of those who have been counted out. We are a force of disruptors and Changemakers that understand  #communitypower. We exist in the same communities we serve.


Our mission prioritizes serving Black communities because we recognize the unique challenges and systemic barriers we face. We know firsthand what our community needs because we live it every day. However, our commitment to justice and equity means that we never turn anyone away. Our doors are open to all who need support, reflecting our dedication to creating a more inclusive and just society for everyone.
