HipHop Sweet Shop, Popcorn Bro, KaNya’s Sweetz, Ujamaa Bakery, Micah’s Makings, Jamaka’s Jungle, Dope Designs by Nannie, and Boss Gloss by Angel.

The event was sponsored by

Kendell Nash, Kierra Troi, The Gabeharts, Brad Long, Lisa Warfield, Todd Mercier, The Bowens, E. Fangman, Nancy Oyler, PopUp Play, A’King’s Treats, Play Cousins Collective, Heine Brothers’ Coffee and Texas Roadhouse.

Our goal was 100 attendees.

Health, Wellness & Poverty

We rallied

to bring awareness to the #TamponTax and to elevate the issue of #PeriodPoverty

We raised

donations from Nicole Coggins, University of Louisville’s Women Center & School of Medicine.

We made

over 30 Period Packs (9 tampons, 6 pads) to donate to UP for Women and Children of Louisville, KY

We partnered with

Nationally recognized nonprofit organization Period, Inc., University of Louisville student-led Empowering Ladies Together & Kidpreneur founded Jilly Pads.
