Black Kids Code with Jyrone Parker
LOUISVILLE, KY (July 15, 2021) — Education is an incredibly powerful catalyst for change which is why it is one of the main pillars of our work at Change Today, Change Tomorrow (CTCT). Jyrone Parker of J Computer Solutions in collaboration with CTCT’s Change Education Hub will be presenting “Black Kids Code,” a free six-week coding class for ages 8-16+ on Mondays and Tuesdays 3pm-4:30pm, beginning July 20, 2021. Students will learn the basics of coding, blockchains, as well as web and mobile app design. While students learn, parents and caregivers are welcome to rest, relax, or even work in the Ed Hub lounge. Free transportation is also available for all classes via the Lyft app, and hot meals will be provided. To register a student for the course, parents and/or caregivers email changetodaychangetomorrow@gmail.com with your children’s ages, dietary restrictions, and transportation needs.
CTCT’s Change Education Hub is located at 310 East Broadway Suite 102.
